02-02-2020 – Ready, Steady, Go!
And we’re finally there! 02-02-2020! After some years of design, afterthoughts, attempts, and tests, my photographic website is now live! This first post is to “celebrate” this moment, and to track the starting point of this site that I’ll try to make it up-to-date with new pictures and contents.
Why 02-02-2020…
There are no real reasons why I’ve selected the 02-02-2020 date. Simply, as it is a palindromic date (can be read in both senses), it’s a peculiarity of this 2020 year, and it’s easy to remember! So I liked the idea to associate this event to a date that is already special for other reasons. And for me it will be even more!
And I chose to enclose in this little introductory post an image that is, in its own way, symmetric, at least from the composition point of view. To underline even more the particularity of this special day.
The picture, taken during the 2018 Florence Photo Marathon, it’s already included in my galleries, published in the appropriate section, which I invite you to take a look.
